Eucerin has developed two subranges for hypersensitive skin - UltraSensitive and AntiRedness -with each product addressing the three signs that are consistent with the hypersensitive skin: a weakened skin barrier, hyper-reactivity and irritation.
The first and most important step in caring for hypersensitive skin is ensuring that it is effectively cleansed without irritating or harming the already delicate skin barrier. As hypersensitive skin typically has a weakened skin barrier it is more prone to irritation and hyper-reactivity activated by irritants. Eucerin UltraSensitive Cleansing Lotion leaves hypersensitive (including redness/Rosacea/Couperose-prone skin) thoroughly cleansed while its 'pure' formula contains only a limited number of ingredients to minimise intolerance and skin reactions. The Eucerin UltraSensitive Cleansing Lotion has no surfactants, and is very gentle to the skin, yet it is powerful enough to remove make-up.
Eucerin UltraSensitive Cleansing Lotion contains SymSitive*, an innovative active ingredient especially developed for hypersensitive skin. It acts as a sensitivity regulator at the source of the hyper-reactivity, minimising sensory fibre activation and, in turn, soothing hypersensitivity instantly.
Eucerin UltraSensitive Cleansing Lotion instantly calms and soothes irritation, making it a fundamental part of the daily care routine for hypersensitive skin. Following cleansing, use for dry skin or Eucerin UltraSensitive Cleansing Lotion for normal to combination skin when the dominant skin problem is an unpleasant skin feel such as burning, stinging or itching. If skin shows visible signs of redness or if an SPF is wanted, use Eucerin AntiRedness Soothing Care or Eucerin AntiRedness Concealing Day Cream SPF25.
As with all products in the Hypersensitive Skin ranges, Eucerin UltraSensitive Cleansing Lotion uses anti-contamination packaging with a dual valve system.
